For me, the list goes like this: Lou Reed, Iggy Pop ,Scott Ashton & William Alexander (the Stooges), Wayne Kramer & Fred “Sonic” Smith (the MC5), Johnny Thunders, Billy Murcia, Jerry Nolan & Walter Lure (the Heartbreakers), Dee Dee Ramone, Topper Headon (the Clash), Malcolm Owen (the Ruts), to name but a few so I’ll stop here for now.
