Online courses are now available from drugsight. The training was developed by Tony D’Agostino and Norfolk Drug & Alcohol Partnership (N-DAP) and uses cloud-based technology, a social network and learning community to deliver high quality training that is DANOS compliant. The courses are for individuals and groups and are aimed at beginner to intermediate level.

The training includes amphetamine, methamphetamine, alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, crack, ketamine and MDMA (ecstasy). There is no need to download any software and you can take the courses from wherever you are as long as you have internet access. Works in all major browsers including Internet Explorer 7. See frequently asked questions

Handouts can be downloaded before you commence the training. Trainees haves access to videos (which can be watched in standard or high definition), key documents, websites and reports. Navigating through the course is easy and guidance is given along the way. With the premium packages you can also contact the trainer from within the browser, so you don’t have to leave the screen to get support. The information is up-to-date and is constantly reviewed and trainees have input into future development by starting threads or leaving specific comments in the forum.

You are given a week to two weeks to finish the training, depending on which course you take. You can stop and start as you wish within the given time frame. If you are on a two week package a reminder will be sent out after the first week if you haven’t begun. Most courses could take 3-6 hours to complete in one sitting. You will be tested on what you have learnt and you need 60% of the mark to pass. If successful you can immediately download a certificate.

You do not need to be a member to buy or book training. Our secure online system accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Once payment is made the course is activated and you are ready to start the training.

With group bookings providers are invoiced ahead of training and delegates are invited to the course via email. Providers also have access to progress reports and evaluations on all of their trainees.

As added value trainees can set up an account with drugsight and join the private and public groups that will provide ongoing support and information for free. Participants can also interact with other members in the community or start up groups of their own.

If you decide to participate we hope you enjoy our training.
